Cereal Treat Bars ~ Giveaway #MyBlogSpark

Back to school is probably one of my favorite times of the year. I think for some people life gets more hectic when kids go back to school but not for me. I home school my oldest daughter so I don’t have to worry about packing a lunch for her but I do have to come up with some good easy snacks to keep her focused during the day. She thinks that school should be baking all day. Great way to incorporate math into a lesson but not something I want her doing all day, every day which she would if I let her. She’s always loved cereal probably because it was all I was able to eat when I was pregnant with her younger brother and sister! I knew as soon as I heard about General Mills Cereal Treat Bars that she would love them. Two of the varieties are  Golden Grahams® (130 calories) and the  new Lucky Charms® Treats (100 calories), loaded with popular favorites like chocolate and marshmallows. My oldest loved the Golden Grahams and my youngest loves the marshmallows in the Lucky Charms bars. I’ve also found that since we do a lot of waiting in doctors offices these are a quick easy way to prevent tantrums when a doctor is running late and it’s getting close to either lunch or dinner.
Lucky Charms
If your child does go to school and they participate in the Box tops for Education program you will be happy to know that each box comes with two seals for your school. Jahnna keeps asking me why we can’t collect them for our homeschool! I let her clip them out and then we send them with my son to his school.
You can check out Cereal Treats Bars online for great information and coupons for new products. Also, be sure to visit the Betty Crocker Facebook page and get involved in the conversation. They would love to hear how your family enjoys Cereal Treats Bars!

Yoplait Yogurt and $40 Sams Club Gift Card ~ Giveaway #MyBlogSpark

I love Sam’s Club for so many reasons. I hate shopping at Sam’s with my husband though. Who knew we needed so many movies at our house? He can always find something he “needs” when he comes with me! Does anyone else have that problem? One of the reasons I love Sam’s Club is because I love yogurt. It’s a great way to start off the day. My kids like it for lunch or an afternoon snack. We eat a lot of yogurt. Yoplait is teaming up with Sam’s Club to help you stock up on your favorite Yoplait yogurts at low everyday prices. They’ve extended their selection and are including the new Yoplait Light with Granola and Trix yogurt.  Yoplait uses real fruit and natural granola. The Trix flavors come in two fun fruit twists that my kids love! It’s so easy to pick up a case of yogurt at Sam’s Club. I know I’m getting a good price and we are stocked up for awhile. Thanks to MyBlogSpark, Sam’s Club and Yoplait you have the chance to stock up on some Yoplait Yogurt as well.

Brain Cancer Update

I know I’ve slowed down A LOT on here. This month has been a hard month for me emotionally. Not really sure why but it has been. I still have more giveaways coming soon. I’m just kind of burnt out on blogging at the moment but I will get myself back into the swing of things soon. Here is the latest on what’s been going on in our home this last month.

Thanks for hanging in there with me as we continue to work on finding our new normal level of chaos!

Stages of Beauty ~ Review

Stages of Beauty

I know this is a huge picture but I wanted to make sure that you could see what was written on the box. I love this box! You can’t see them but there were cloth rose petals included. Talk about making you feel beautiful before you even get the product out of the box!

Stages of Beauty is a great product designed for each stage of your life. It starts off with your 20′s and the Radiance line. It is designed to prevent damage from happening. Next up is the Harmony line which is what I was able to try. It is designed for those in their 30′s who are starting to see some fine lines. It’s designed to help promote the regeneration of your skin keeping it beautiful. The Elegance line is for your 40′s. It calms and hydrates your skin. It also helps battle the effects of photoaging. The grace line for 50′s and up provides intense hydration while helping balance the effects of hormones and restoring your skins surface immunity.

I received my box of Harmony products right before my husbands tumor was found. I packed the box with me to go to the hospital because I know what hospital air does to my skin. It’s not pretty! It’s like I step foot in the hospital and I turn 5 shades of pasty white. I don’t know if it’s the lighting, the lack of fresh air or the food but when we leave after spending more than two or three days I look like I’ve aged another 5 years.

First up I used the scrub. I love the scrub. It’s effective with out being super harsh. You don’t have to use much to feel like you’ve really gotten some good cleansing going on. You only need to use the scrub a couple of times a week. I’ve had mine and been using it twice a week for four months and I’m just now getting to the bottom of my scrub tube.

The cleanser works nicely as well. It doesn’t dry my skin out like most face washes do. It leaves my face feeling clean and fresh. I have got to say though my absolute favorite part of this package is the treatment cream. My skin is silky smooth after using this. I don’t even have to use the cleanser to get the feeling all though there is definitely a difference when you use them together. The lotion is so light. Usually during the summer months everything feels heavy or greasy to me. I’ve used it all summer. I love this cream!

I don’t have a before and after shot to show you but I can tell that my face looks brighter. My lines around my eyes are not as noticeable and  I did not look pale and pasty when I brought my husband home from the hospital. It was a nice change. If you have yet to find a facial product line that you love I highly recommend that you try the appropriate age line for yourself. I know I love it and I bet your will also.

You can get a fourteen day free trial by using this link.  *Updated 9/25 Thanks to a reader for letting me know. When you sign up for a free trial you are also signing up for a free autoshipment two weeks after getting your free sample. Make sure you write down how to cancel that if you do sign up for the trial. I had no idea or I wouldn’t have passed on the link and I am sorry for that or for any confusion it might have caused.

I received a harmony line of products for this review. All thoughts are my own and were not influenced in anyway.

I don’t usually like most cereals that contain a lot of fiber. They leave me feeling bloated and heavy. I wasn’t expecting anything different with the new Fiber One cereal so it was a pleasant surprise not to feel that way after eating a bowl. It does have a slight honey flavor but I liked to add some frozen blueberries to my bowl. This is a cereal that I would consider buying again.
