I was so happy to receive the new Scotch Brite Bathroom products to try. I hate cleaning bathrooms. Any product that makes it easier for me to get it clean is a great thing. Here they are in random order.

The first product I tried out was the Non-Scratch Tub Scrubber. We have fairly hard water and a constant ring around the tube. I’ve used just about everything on it. Usually the tub wins but in this case I did! It so easy to use my 4 year old actually scrubbed the tub (after I did the initial cleaning) during her next bath. It kept her entertained and I was able to clean up a little bit more in the bathroom while she felt like she was helping out. I’ve never been worried about scratching our bathtub so I would not have gone out of my way to buy this if I’d just seen it in the store but it works so well I’ll definitely keep it around.
The Shower Scrubber is a great idea for those who aren’t very tall or who have a hard time bending over to scrub floors. It worked great in my teeny tiny shower. Usually to clean our shower you have to open the door and kneel down outside the shower and scrub the floor. I was able to use this while standing in the shower. That might not seem like a big deal but my shower only gets cleaned on days when I have a few extra minutes in the morning while I’m taking a shower. Please tell me I’m not the only one who multitasks in such a weird way? I’ve only used the shower scrubber twice so I don’t know how long it will last but the two times I have used it I’ve loved it.
I used to save our old toothbrushes to clean around the sink edges and get in those hard to reach spots. The toothbrushes never really did a great job but where more effective than a rag. I think this might be my favorite tool out of the new product line. You can get anywhere with the Nook and Cranny Scrubber. It cleaned the edges of my sink, that gunk that collects around the faucet handles, the edges around the toilets. The linoleum in our kitchen has been split along the seam ever since we moved in and I even used it to clean out the crud that’s accumulated in there over the last 4 years.
I don’t have any grout in my house so I wasn’t sure that I would ever use this scrubber. I had read some great reviews on it and I started wondering if there was anything I could use it for. I decided I’d try it along the baseboards in our bathrooms. It worked great. I wasn’t sure it could really get down into the edge but it did. I don’t know that I’d buy it for that purpose because I love the Nook and Cranny scrubber so much but in a pinch this works great for things other than grout.
I’ve never used a streak free cloth before that worked. They always leave either the streaks or lint behind. My husband had no interest in them either. Until he saw this one. He stole it from me! How rude! Seriously this is his direct quote “This is mine! Keep your hands off it or go get another one. In fact get one for each bathroom!” In his defense he was laughing when he said that. He used it to clean the computer screen, his glasses and the t.v.. I used it once on my daughters grimy tooth paste crusted mirror and it did a great job. I haven’t gone and gotten one for each bathroom only because we’ve been in and out of the hospital and back and forth for doctors appointments. As soon as life settles down a bit these are at the top of my grocery list.
The Reusable Counter Cloth page on the Scotch-Brite website says that this cloth is the equivalent of 10 rolls of paper towels. That’s a lot of paper saved by using just one of these. I loved this for cleaning my bathroom counters. I usually just use a washcloth but those don’t really absorb a lot. They might clean well but it’s not very multi-purpose. The first time I used this cloth I was shocked at how much hair was covering my counters. I know I have long hair and that it gets every where but good grief there was a lot of it on the counter that I couldn’t see or that didn’t get picked up when I do my usual morning counter wipe down. I love that this works similar to a sponge for liquids but really cleans well.
The Angled Scrubber works well for those of you who like more of a sponge type product. The angled edge is great for cleaning under edges. It has a non-scratch side for the heavier jobs and a sponge side. The angled edge is really the best feature of this product.
If you want to try out any of these products be sure and go to the coupon section of the Scotch-Brite website before you do. Everyone can use a good deal right? In my opinion Scotch-Brite has always made quality products and this new line up of bathroom solutions is a great example of how they continue to try and make cleaning products to really fit your life and need.
